Narcissus

Narcissus was attracted to a pool by Nemesis, where he saw his own reflection in the water and fell in love with it, not realizing it was merely an image. Unable to leave the beauty of his reflection, Narcissus drowned..

Me – an Advertisement

Staging of an omnipresent advertising campaign which had been dominating public imaging of the entire Federal Republic at the time. This work was displayed in the windows of a bookstore on Berlin Friedrichstrasse and at University of Arts in Philadelphia.

Photografit series of self-portraits which mark the end of my pictoral self-ascertainment using the image of myself. 135 images were created which explore mimics, surface and physicality. I assembled them in chart-like arrangements that show the sequences of the images.
